Current Projects

Hi everybody.  I just got home from two of our friends' beautiful wedding.  She was gorgeous, the groom was "beautiful in a different sort of way" as how the Pastor worded it.  The ceremony was just beautiful, God is just beautiful.  =)

As I was uploading the wedding photos, I was looking at the events that I must edit and decided, what better time than right now.  Here are just some teasers as to what I'm currently working on.  Keep updated and visit soon.  Enjoy.

Early Easter Picnic & Very First Car Photo Session

Happy Early Easter everybody!  My church, for this year, decided to celebrate our Jesus' Resurrection early.  We just couldn't contain our excitment and festivities. = ) Well, here is just a teaser for what's more to come.  I will come back once my photos are done and post them.

does not my sister look like a scary egg ghost watcher or what?
In addition, my brother in law has this AWESOME RIDE!!!  You may call me biased, because my hubby is a: Master Tech for BMW baby!!!  but anyways, I believe all of his brothers, except for baby Jacob of course, owns a M 3.  They are soooooo smooth and grabs the road so.....let's just say, wow...at first I really didn't like them, but once my hubby brought home a 2010 M 3 and I got to ride in it...can I just say wow.  Once he put that beautiful baby in sports mode and took off on a BIG curve, man, I was sold.  Lotto, if ever, I want three of you M3 for my collection: black, white, & pink?  J/k

Enjoy my very first car shoot. Until then...

My most favorite of the bunch.

365 PHOTO PROJECT FAILED...

Good evening fellow blog readers...so as you can tell...I've failed my new years' resolution of keeping up a photo journal for 2011.  My apologies...I can add this to my bucket of failures.  Here's the thing.  I love being behind my camera but I hate editing...ahhh...guys this is why when you want to hire a personal photographer, the price is soooo high...you might wonder why it's costing you so much when the photographer you just hired only spends two hours with you...uhhh...it's because of editing...ewwww...

So, here it is...I'll be posting up my work when I have time.  So...to make up for all my time loss, here's going to be a wad load of photos that I've been taking.  Enjoy until next time...

Twilight anyone?

these were the same flowers that were in bloom when Koob took me out on our first date.

Day???

Can we call this day 35?  Sorry.  So today I had my first day of class...I can't call it school because it's not but it's through the community center so...class.  Going on, I was sooooo excited.  I brought my camera, two ball point pens and a small spiral notebook pad thing to write on and went to class early.  Oh my goose, in comes these older (more mature) gentlemen like my grandpa and they have the highest dslrs and brought in their labtops.  Boy, are the times sure changing.  Going on, I thought this class was to get familiar with your dslr but nope...photoshop...so...I'M SUPER EXCITED BECAUSE I'VE ALWAYS BEEN INTIMIDATED to use it but now...ha...ha...ha...I'm loving it...here is my before and after...loving it.  what do you think?

Day Ten

So being Hmong, while growing up, eating chili fish sauce is a norm.  Add chili, lemon, fish sauce with mangos or lemons or whatever...man...your mouth just...yum...I guess you can compare it to a running faucet?

Anyways, the reason why I'm stating that is because...well here's the story.  My cousin is having her first baby and I wanted to see if I can get some fabric to make receiving blankets.  I googles a place near my workplace and it said that there was one on fourth street.  I got in my car and wow...it looked like downtown L.A...just a minni me version.  And...and...can you believe it?  I had to pay for parking.  It was just .75 cents but wow...it surprised me.  Anyways, I was was walking everywhere trying to find this small little fabric store and oh my goose, people really don't know their surrounding.  Let's just say I had a nice excises during my lunch hour.  Finally, right when I've about to give up, out pops the store.  Kind of like Harry Potter-ish.  = ) I walked in, and it was horrible.  Nothing!

I was hot, parched, and agitated because whoever said it was a really good store...LIED!!!  Anyways, they had street food vendors there, just like L.A...and guess what I got?

Mangos with chili and salt with a wedge of L-E-M-O-N!!!  I was sooooo happy.  I forgot the crappy store and was happy.  I also stopped by Starbucks.  For me: winter time is: caramel machiato or caramel brule and during hot times: vientie iced green tea sweetened...yes....well...enjoy this mouth watering treat...

P.S.
I was stuck in traffic and had enough time to capture this...beautiful isn't it?
